I LOVE historical fiction although I don't get much time to read it lately. To be honest the usually the last fiction book I read is usually my current favourite LOL. In our homeschool read aloud we have just finished "Children of the Oregon Trail" and I cried at the end!!!! I hardly ever EVER cry over a book. But it was such a very long journey for these children and to have survived and reach their destination through so many trials was amazing.

I just entered at your other blog...thanks for the opportunity! Last fictional book I read that I'd consider a favorite was "The Scarlet Letter" by Nathaniel Hawthorne. Truly a classic!

Hmm... not sure if you meant we could enter on both sites or not, so if you didn't mean that, then please disregard this duplicate entry! My favorite fictional books are the Little House series, by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

Right now I am reading First Light by Brock and Bodie Thoene...this is part of the A.D. Chronicles and considered Historical Fiction.

I love Francine Rivers' Redeeming Love

I used to not enjoy fiction, as I am usually a informational reader...but I have so enjoyed these 2 authors.

I am reading Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder with my children right now!

I love to read but I would have to say one of my all time favorites is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I love the A & E version of it too - 6 hours long . . . it's great! :-)
