I LOVE historical fiction although I don’t get much time to read it lately. To be honest the usually the last fiction book I read is usually my current favourite LOL. In our homeschool read aloud we have just finished “Children of the Oregon Trail” and I cried at the end!!!! I hardly ever EVER cry over a book. But it was such a very long journey for these children and to have survived and reach their destination through so many trials was amazing.

Right now I am reading First Light by Brock and Bodie Thoene…this is part of the A.D. Chronicles and considered Historical Fiction.

I used to not enjoy fiction, as I am usually a informational reader…but I have so enjoyed these 2 authors.

I am reading Little House in the Big Woods by Laura Ingalls Wilder with my children right now!

I love to read but I would have to say one of my all time favorites is Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. I love the A & E version of it too – 6 hours long . . . it’s great!
