Leslie I am one who does can and I usually have jars on hand. Sometimes you can still find them at Wal Mart this time of year, and reduced to make room for other items, if you are lucky that is. I will be making a few of these gifts in a jar, for myself. A few soups, some hot chocolate and such to have on hand for busy days. Just dump, add a few things, and heat in the crock pot. I cannot think of a better way to bless myself than having some soups in a jar for cold winter days when I know I will be busy, or when someone else needs to fill in for me. I got the idea while reading your new book "Gift Giving From the Heart", so thank you for blessing me!!!! You're the BEST!!!
