This week I was emailing with my friend Janice about neat autumn activities for kids. She told me that she expanded on an idea I posted about last year. The article gives instructions to make cards from leaves. Janice had her children make posters with leaves! She had her kids gather leaves of different colors from the same trees. Each poster had leaves from one tree in many colors. Then the kids wrote a haiku poem about each tree or its leaves. When they were finished, she mounted them on scrapbook paper and hung them in her home as part of her décor. How cool is that?
